I have had several questions during my time doing freelance in Nottingham and while working on projects around the world, and these are just a few of them. I have provided my answers below so that future clients and current clients can have a better understanding of how I run projects and how my workflow works.
Describe your creative process.
In my normal creative process, I cover Discover, Research, Brainstorm, Sketch, Design, Present, Deliver to ensure that every client receives a product they are happy with.
Discover — Get to know the client’s business. This could be the message you sent before with some more info about what your company does. Also if you have on hand a persona user profile this is basically a persona of your customer base. However, I can always make one based on the information you provide.
Research — Find out about the industry and its competitors. This contributes to how they represent themselves in the sector from a design perspective.
Brainstorm — Develop ideas and decide on art direction. I use the brand personality to help me brainstorm ideas and develop mood boards and any other design specifications.
Sketch — Create concepts using the discovery search and brainstorming process as a basis for strategy.
Design — Select the most effective 2 or 3 options based on the four other processes and create them digitally.
Present — Demonstrate the concepts in the form of mockups that would suit your sector and your work processes.
Deliver — Prepare artwork (and a style guide, if needed) for the client handover.
This can be edited depending on each project as each one is different.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
A detailed description of the client and his business, including what the product will include from content to specific features if necessary. Please give me an estimate of the timeframe you are looking at for the project (I will see if it is doable and establish a timeline for us to agree upon if your timescale is not realistic). The budget for the project, plus any side notes with needed clarifications about limitations or unexpected things that may not be outlined in the proposal.
What do you love most about your job?
Every day is an exciting adventure for me and I look forward to guiding and assisting clients as well as assisting them on their own path towards achieving their business goals the way they desire and need. My best efforts are put into doing this to the best of my ability. Likewise, I really enjoy the type of projects that I can get my teeth into and that appeals to me a lot.

Do you provide your services online, remotely or Face to Face?
As far as remote work is concerned, it is my norm, but if the project really requires it, if it is within my power and ability to do so, I am more than willing to work in other ways if possible.
